Fresh Juice

I was given a juicer sometime ago and hadn't used it at all until a dear friend recently suggested I try a few recipes. I fell in love! Fresh juice every morning really helps me start my day and gives me lasting energy and fewer cravings for all the junk foods. The following recipes are a few of my favorites!

Green Dream

Kale - 4 cups packed 

Cilantro - 1/2 bunch 

Lemon - 1 

Apples - 3 (Honeycrisp) 

Celery - 5 stalks 

Ginger - 1 inch 

Cucumbers - 2 

 

Note: Add some fresh Pineapple juice to mine for a sweet refreshing drink!

 

Carrot Juice 

4 Carrots 

3 Apples 

1 inch Ginger 

1 Beet 

Note: If you don't care for the beet flavor try adding an orange or two. 

 

Strawberry Lemonade

Juice 4 Lemons 

Blend Large container of Strawberries with water and 1/2 the lemon juice 

Sweeten to taste (Agave, Maple syrup, or sugar)
